First Training in Champery: dry and dusty

The first practice on the Champéry Downhill World Cup track confirmed what everybody already knew: it's steep! But other than in 2007, riders have the choice between the radical straight lines and the flowing round lines. It took quite a bit of thinking find the best option for every rider.

The weather stayed dry during practice which was highly appreciated by the athletes who needed a bit of time to get used to such a steep track.
Though, it started raining hard in the evening, and it might be a whole new story on friday.

Fabien Pedemanaud has some problems with his shoulder, as he dislocated it during the french championships and did the same today landing from a jump without even crashing. We hope that he's going to be able to race after the treatment of our physio Dr. Whitebread.

Emilie Siegenthaler is back from her injury break and is very happy to be back on her bike!

Floriane Pugin is one of the two girls who managed to jump all of the big jumps on the track.
